As a student ministry made up of 16 mentors, we care more about the why than the what. Although what we offer students is exciting (who doesn’t love dodgeball?), the why of what we do is more important. Each student will be shown God’s love fully while being challenged to love people completely.

In order to accomplish this our aim is to do 3 things with excellence:

  • Bible Exploration Class

    Every other Sunday
    Begins September 13
    10:45am in Youth Room - 101
    6th-12th graders

    Students, are you wanting to learn more about your faith and how to better defend it? 

    Do you have questions about where demons come from or why do Christians believe in the Trinity? 

    This fall and winter, for our Bible Exploration Class, we will be meeting to discuss these topics (known as Systematic Theology). Bring your questions and even your doubts to this safe place as we learn together!

  • Unite Night

    Middle School: 5:00-7:00pm
    High School: 6:00-8:00pm

    Get ready for our first Unite Night! This will be the last Sunday of each month. This will be a time where Middle School will meet 5-7pm and High School 6-8pm the final week of each month. During the 6 o'clock hour, we will have a combined time of worship and someone from our church family will share their testimony. In addition, the evening will include exciting themes and games, so start thinking and praying about the friends you’re going to invite!

  • Lake Geneva Day Trip

    Saturday, November 14
    8:30am-3pm
    6th-12th graders
    Lake Geneva Youth Camp

    We will be taking a day trip for Middle Schoolers and High Schoolers to Lake Geneva Youth Camp. This day will include helping with various projects around the camp, a few games, and lunch! This is a great opportunity for students to get to see the camp for the first time.

MIDDLE SCHOOL

School year schedule:
Sundays // 4:00-6:00pm

This is our main night of ministry for middle school students during the school year. Each Sunday night includes group games, connecting with friends, time in God's word, and grade-based small groups.

This is our main night of ministry for high school students during the school year. Each night includes group games, a time to connect, student-led worship, a message from God's word, and small groups.

The Final Countdown // times & dates vary

This is a group just for seniors in high school. We will have several events throughout the year that will help prepare you for life after high school. For more details, check the calendar or contact Spencer Smith.

8th - 12th GRADE

Mission work is a vital part of our Student Ministries. As followers of Christ, God has given us the task of sharing the love of Jesus with all people, so Village Church works to encourage and challenge our students to engage in ministry and mission.
