Early Learning Village (ELV) is a warm and nurturing early learning environment that seeks to meet the physical, cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual needs of every child ages, 18 months - PreK. Because we believe that play is the work of every child, our program is intentionally play-based, and is developed and created based on the Illinois State Board of Education's Birth to Three and Early Learning & Developmental Standards.

Early Learning Village Preschool admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs.

ELV Enrichment: 11:30am-1:30pm, Wednesday only

Annual Registration Fee: $60/child [$90 max/family]

Tuition: $23/session all days in month

TODDLER PROGRAM (18 months-3 years)

The programs at Early Learning Village are created from a solid understanding of child development and promote the growth of the whole child: physically, cognitively, socially, emotionally, and spiritually. We believe children learn best when their curiosity is engaged in multi-sensory play. Our staff is dedicated to cultivating a nurturing environment and modeling Christlike character.

All activities promote growth and learning in a developmentally appropriate manner and target fine and large motor skills, language development, healthy separation, and cooperative play.

Each of our Toddler Classrooms is equipped with a diaper changing station and a restroom with child-sized toilets and sinks. Children who attend ELV are NOT required to be potty-trained, and teachers and staff will gladly work with parents at all stages of potty-training.

PRESCHOOL PROGRAM (3 years-PreKindergarten)

Built on a solid understanding of child development, Early Learning Village (ELV) is dedicated to promoting the growth of the whole child: physically, cognitively, socially, emotionally, and spiritually.
We believe children learn best when their curiousity is engaged in multi-sensory play. Out staff is devoted to cultivating a nurturing environment and modeling Christlike character.

Our Cheetah classrooms serve children from 3 years old through Pre-Kindergarten. The development of each child is valued and nurtured, and children at all stages of potty training are accepted. We partner with parents to provide an exceptional early learning experience. Our kindergarten readiness curriculum is intentionally play-based built on the Illinois State Board of Education's Preschool Standards as well as on recommendations from local school districts. It includes sensory, creative, and intellectual experiences in pre-literacy, math, science, music, small/large motor, art, and drama.

EARLY LEARNING VILLAGE ENRICHMENT PROGRAM

Early Learning Village (ELV) Enrichment is an extended day enrichment opportunity that includes a supervised lunch time (lunch brought from home) and lessons, activities, and projects that encourage collaborative work, social skills building, and other kindergarten readiness skills.

ELV Enrichment meets most Wednesdays immediately following ELV until 1:30pm.

The cost is $18 per session and you must choose all sessions offered each month. ELV Enrichment is offered to students who will turn 3 years of age by June 1.
