Fall Into His Faithfulness

We are excited for our time together at our fall women’s event! Let’s come together for a day to connect with each other through God’s Word, worship, prayer, conversation, tasty food, and fun activities.

Fall Into His Faithfulness: A Study of Psalm 23

How can I walk through the valleys of my life full of faith and truly resting in God's care for me? Psalm 23 simply, but powerfully, reminds us that the Lord is our good shepherd who is near, who restores, and who goes with us, behind and before, to protect us in every dark valley. who feeds and anoints us, and who will lead us all the way home. 

Come together this fall, women of Village Church, and join us as we listen to the word, worship in song, fellowship, and have lots of fun together! We are asking the Lord to restore each of us in a unique way.

SPEAKER

Christy grew up in Alabama, became a believer in middle school, attended Auburn University where she sensed God's call on her life for full-time ministry instead of med school. She worked among college students in Louisiana for 2 years and then in Kazakhstan for 7 years, sharing the gospel with Russian and Kazakh young adults. She also helped develop a new scripture translation and discipleship materials for Russian-speaking Central Asians from a Muslim background. Christy returned to the U.S. to study at Trinity seminary, unexpectedly met her future husband, and they were married within the year. They have raised 3 kids and now she serves as Director of Women's Ministry at CrossWay Community Church in Wisconsin, where her husband is a pastor of worship and missions.
