Sundays at 10:45am in Room 106

What is Thrive?

Thrive is a community friendship group for adults with and without intellectual disabilities at Village Church of Gurnee.

Every Sunday morning we meet in room 106 during the 10:45am service. This group is for those in high school and beyond.

We learn the Bible together and equip our friends to use their gifts to serve Jesus and know him more deeply.

We serve communion together on the first Sunday of every month and then play games together.

We support the Teacher Store in the summer by collecting, organizing, and distributing school supplies to new teachers in our community.

THRIVE LIVE!

3rd Friday of each month from 6:00-7:30pm in Gym

Thrive Live is our community group for those age 22 and beyond. We meet every 3rd Friday of the month to develop friendships, play games, have fun, eat food, and take time to worship together + have a devotional. Invite your adult friends with special needs and their families. There will be games, activities, food, and fun for all.

Each month features a different themed event! Some of our past events include:

Friendsgiving | St. Patrick’s Day party | Bingo night | Uno night
Campfire night | Tenzi night | Christmas party
